Shinebright Educational Initiative is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children and young people through access to education, acquisition of practical skills, and community support and engagement. We believe that the strength of every society lies in its younger generation, and investing in education today creates a better future for everyone.
As of late 2024-2025, the estimated number of out-of-school children in Nigeria is between 18.3 million and over 20million. These figures include roughly 10.2 million primary-aged children and 8.1 million junior secondary-aged children, with a high concentration in the northern regions. Financial difficulties, lack of school materials, and limited learning opportunities often stop students from reaching their full potential. Shinebright Educational Initiative works to remove these barriers by providing support that allows children to stay in school and succeed.
Our organization focuses on supporting students through tuition assistance, educational resources, school materials, and skill development opportunities that prepare them for productive futures.
